Maple Leaf Studios

Maple Leaf Studios not only produced prints from its Folkestone premises but also sold VHS films on a mail-order-only basis. The main star of these films was often Linda, the photographer’s wife or partner. They were very amateurish, with appalling music used for the soundtracks, but they have a real honesty about them, are very watchable, and definitely erotic.
These tapes probably weren’t sold in the thousands, more like hundreds of copies at best, and they are now quite rare. The ones left are deteriorating in their original tape format. They have been transferred from VHS tapes to a digital format so that they can be enjoyed once again.
These films have been converted to an MP4 file format from an original VHS tapes, and the quality is good as long as you don’t enlarge the window too much. MP4 files are very versatile and display nicely on all mobile devices and computers.
