It was raining. Pouring down! And still five hours to kill before the big night on the town with the three groovy guys from the ad. agency on the corner. What to do? What to do? Then Jenny, the little blonde, had the bright idea. ‘Let’s open a bottle of plonk — and play strip-poker, she said. ‘C’mon, we’ve gotta change for later anyway … ’twill be fun.”
And fun it was. Hand by hand —aces wild and deuces low’— the cards turned and Charlotte was first to fall. Off with her dress! Then Jonquil doffed her blouse, retaining a firm grip on her jeans. (Not for long.) Jenny, the little minx, played safe. But, yes, she fell on the fourth hand. Off with her maxi. And on with the show. One by one — at the flimsiest of excuses — all the other femininity flimsies dropped. Glass by glass the plonk vanished. So did the trio’s inhibitions. As if they’d had any to begin with. Charlotte won the race to lose everything – revealing, surprise, surprise, a flower tattoo on a curvy hip. Just one of the numerous surprises which followed during an afternoon of stacked decks and full hands.
And the guys from the agency never knew a thing. Until now.
