Future Bondage Enthusiasts
One thing we noticed when we were assembling the Irving Klaw and John Willie magazine retrospectives a couple of years past was that no one back in those days had taken the trouble to list specific data about the models, locations or other facts surrounding those bondage shootings. There just wasn’t enough information to connect that past to the present, bring history forword to now, and we are thus left with a psychological and disappointing chasm between the bondage events of yesteryear and ourselves.
To spare future bondage enthusiasts that frustation, at least concerning the bondage events depicted in this magazine, let us tell you that this is being written on a January Sunday in 1982, and that most of these pictures were taken last month, mid-December 1981. Now, for any of you who might be perusing this magazine 20 or so years after it has been published, sent and received (Did you find it in an old trunk underneath a pile of old clothes? Don’t you agree that they just don’t make bondage models today the way they used to back in the 70’s and 80’s?), you can swiftly compute Sally or Susan’s age and start wondering where they might be now… a bit like our figuring here in 1981 that Betty Page must be in her early 50’s now since a 1952 magazine said she was 22 at that time.
As long as we have your scholarly attention, we can also tell you that pretty Sally has been getting gagged and taped and all bound up for about seven years now (if you bump into her during this era, please mention that you think she’s getting better at it, but probably could use a lot more practice).
And, if you truly love Sally in bondage, and how could you not, you can see her in live action on about a dozen different hour-long videocassettes with storylines and the 3-4 Super 8 movies with sound that we now have of her.
